Bakrieland Continues to Excel through the Launch of West Java’s Biggest Residential Mega Project Sentul Nirwana

The initial development of JUNGLELAND Adventure Theme Park, two residential cluster sites will compliment the requirements for an integrated residential, edutainment, sports and recreation as well as new leisure infrastructure at Sentul Nirwana.

Today the Landed Residential Business Unit of PT Bakrieland Development Tbk, PT Bukit Jonggol Asri, officially launched “Sentul Nirwana”, a 12,000 ha mixed-use residential Mega project located in Sentul, Bogor Regency, West Java. As part of Phase 1 of Sentul Nirwana’s initial master planned area of 600 ha, Stage 1 of 127ha’s, including two residential clusters of some 400 + standard (The BREEZE ) and medium density (The ATMOSPHERE) housing, the JUNGLELAND project consisting of a 40 ha Dry Adventure theme park, Marketing Gallery and downtown commercial centre was released to the market.

Occupying 12,000 ha’s of land bank, Sentul Nirwana will develop into an integrated hybrid city providing the community with a variety of theme parks, hotels and resorts, golf courses, commercial areas, and offices, light industrial and hundreds of housing clusters with the concept of being classified as a self sustainable development, with both international standard facilities and infrastructure to ensure all factors of socio/economic activity can be achieved. The first development phase of Sentul Nirwana will begin with the construction of the relevant infrastructure, along with The Jungleland Adventure Theme Park and down town facility, the creation a central shopping district, eating and entertainment district for residents and visitors to relax, be entertained and enjoy a variety of culinary delights and colors in the Jungle Parade area, all the best from the East as well as West. The downtown area will cover some 2.5 ha land. 

Among other advantages, Sentul Nirwana is located in the Sentul hills escarpment, with an altitude ranging from 225 m to 600 m above sea level with verdant lush countryside and views of Mount Pancar, as well as several rivers crossing the area. Good accessibility and transportation networks is an imperative vision for Sentul Nirwana and this will be planned accordingly, however in the short term, the existing use of entry will be through two initial strategic road networks: 1) by the road access through Sentul city’s Jagorawi Toll exit; and 2) by the alternative access from Sentul Circuit toll exit of which a provincial road is currently under construction by the District Government of Bogor which will link Jagorawi toll gate - Sentul Circuit to Cileungsi (Deltamas, Cikampek) - Cipanas (Puncak II) scheduled for completion in 2013. 

Construction of the JUNGLELAND ADVENTURE THEME PARK, Sentul Nirwana’s first theme park stage, will comprise a 40 hectare edutainment, thrill and family Adventure theme park. The park is planned to be a major tourist attraction with eight (8) thematic zones and over 90 traditional as well as modern attractions for all ages, with the emphasis on families. Split into three development stages, the first stage is scheduled for operations in June 2012, with over 40 rides and attractions. In addition, the thematic transportation network such as the steam train system, the JUNGLELAND ADVENTURE THEME PARK will also present a complete list of attractions and events, including national cultural festivals, daily carnivals along the downtown parade area, water fountain and multimedia shows, as well as music concerts in the nearby amphitheater, all surrounded by thematic landscape of a jungle, cooler air and the feeling of tranquility that only a forest can provide in Sentul Nirwana, Bogor. 

The newly released residential development of “The Atmosphere” (medium) and “The Breeze” (standard) Clusters have been developed to incorporate all nature has to offer, while ensuring Sentul Nirwana’s 60% green zone concept, and the continued integration of “Bakrieland’s CSR Goes Green” commitment throughout all its projects. The Atmosphere is positioned for the well-established families who enjoy extensive gardens, shady tree-scape and open parkland space. In this cluster various facilities are provided including a clubhouse and jogging track along the river crossing, and family playground. With modern tropical architectural design, occupying a total area of 9 hectares, the homes range from Rp 600 million to Rp 1.5 billion with land size ranging from a comfortable 144 m2 up to 250 m2.
